I am going to try something new. A list of things to do.

Here is the list.
1.)Read my Bible daily without fail. Make it more important than my food (Job 23:12).
2.)Maintain a regular daily prayer life.
3.)Keep my life from all sin.
4.)Keep my eyes on the cross.
5.)Meditate on the fate of the lost as a regular part of my prayer life.
6.)Spend time with like-minded Christians who share your passion to reach the lost.
7.)Turn up the heat in my daily devotion—start reading Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon.

Eight Reasons to memorize Scripture.
1.)Memorizing Scripture makes meditation possible at times, when I can't be reading the Bible, and meditation is the pathway to deeper understanding.
2.)Memorizing Scripture strengthens my faith because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ, and that happens when I am hearing the word in my head.
3.)Memorizing Scripture shapes the way I view the world by conforming my mind to God's viewpoint.

My goal I wish to reach in memorizing Scripture is not to memorize the whole Bible but at least get 1,500 verses memorized. With this I can focus on those verses. Then I could make a study out of those verses I am trying to memorize. My main focus is to memorize two verses a week, then get two new verses to do, that way I am adding new verses to learn. Also I want to review the verses I learned from last week to keep them fresh, this is how it works set up a weekly card for the week seven days through the week, then after I have them memorized I put them under the monthly card and review them on that day of the month 1-31.

As your are memorizing say the verse out loud ten times. This is to make sure the verse gets learned, oh and also don't stop reviewing the verses that is important to know when memorizing Scriptures remember that and you will do well.

I don't know anything about why she left her husband but I will pray for her, I hope she has a good reason for leaving her husband.

I thank You Lord that I am able to overcome things in my life and keep my focus on You. 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

My prayer to You O Lord is that I thank You for making a way of escape, that I could overcome my temptation, You truly have made a way of escape for me, and I thank You and give You all the praise in Jesus Name Amen.

I so want to have a deeper understanding of You Lord Jesus.

I feel like a wretched man today. Nothing seems to help my misery, I feel I have fallen into outer space. The only thing that brings comfort is the Word of God.

The comfort I have reminds me of a verse, “Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

So I have got to realize I am complete in Jesus Christ.

Will I ever taste love from a wife, or am I to be held captive with just a burden. I have thought if I get married my life will be a mess, 'You see I have tried to think my way out of getting married. But it doesn't work, I just come back to the thought of getting married.' I have asked, “Lord please give me a wife?” But nothing comes from it. I don't know why I am still alone, I have shed tears for nothing, I have begged for nothing. I have a heart that has been ripped apart. Yet nothing avails. I have been alone so long, “this is hard to write, because I have my heart beating real fast. I would like to have relief from being alone. I am not mad at the Lord no sir, He has given me much. And I am thankful for all that I have.

Are church is going to start memorizing Scripture, the verse my Pastor picked is, “Psalm 119:9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.”
I commend Paul for doing this and gain great respect for him. I hope that we all store His Word in are heat's See Psalm 119:11.

I have been learning to study my Bible, First off, John MacArthur has given me a great tool, “To read a book of the New Testament all the way through for 30 days.”
Now when it comes to a really large book in the NT divide into Seven Chapters like John seven chapters for 30 days, then another and so on until you get it done.

I have a blessing given to me yesterday, I was asked by my Pastor Paul, “If I would make memory verses for our church?” He told me, 'to pray about it.' In my mind I must say yes to this and give glory to God, thank You Lord Jesus.

[As a side note Paul lied to me, he said, “I could choose the verses for the church to memorize” yet, he was the one who choose the verses for the church to memorize. So he pretty much just lied to me.]

[Another situation where Paul was supposed to tell the people in the church about this sheet I made and again he didn't even announce it. I was very up-set, once again he lied to me.]

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

This verse is very important. We should know the Scripture, but this not talking just about Scripture it is also talking about the Sword of the Spirit. That's what it is really talking about is the Sword of the Spirit. That what it is really focusing on is fighter verses for warfare. So think about having your sword by your side, and be ready to use it.

I can't take it where I am living, I am living in a pile of dump it is driving me mad I am going to leave and go to the Lord's Ranch, if I live here any longer I will loose it. This place is a pile of crap. I cannot take it any longer. I wish there was a better place than this, but there isn't. I don't know how I have dealt with this place for as long as I have. The next few days will prove whether I stay or go. If I do go it would be good cause I could go on trips to witness.
I thought about recording them and putting them on my blog, that way I can learn what to do and what not to do. I think this could be God's moving me out of her.

[A side note the next few days did prove that I would actually stay. I guess God didn't want me to leave cause I am still here, at the same place. I guess I wasn't trusting God, in certain areas.]

I seem to have no favor in getting married, it cut's deep into my heart. I seem to be getting serious head-aches I don't know what they are about. They are not your normal head-aches, I don't understand it, I hope it is not a tumor. The plus side my love for God's Word is growing; I can't seem to ever exhaust the Bible, I always find more info. One Quote I am trying to memorize is, “Love is the beauty of the soul.” —Saint Augustine

This gives me joy to memorize. I hope to memorize a lot of great and helpful things.

These are the people that I will build my theology around. These will help be my guide to understand my theology around the Bible. Now I know that the Holy Spirit is my guide.

The apartment has been a little crazy, but that's what happens living in a old building.

I have come to a conclusion that I am a Calvinist; I can not find any other way to conclude that Calvinism is evil I can't find it in the Scriptures. People say Calvinism is 'dark and evil' no way I don't believe it. Calvinisms core doctrine is [substitution] Christ was our substitution and it is clearly taught in by Paul Romans. I could go on but I won't. God bless!

Well 2009 is almost done. It seems that my walk with God is hard and seems unbearable at times. But I know if I focus on the Word of God I can make this trip a little less difficult. I also know that if I make application of the Word in my life it will give me strength, and growth. I also know to make my mind focus on the Word of God; we can all this to improve our walk with God, and to let the Holy Spirit guide us into all truth.

My time seems not to be well spent I should use it more wisely.
I am reminded of James 4:9–10, “Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” I think I should study more (dogma) that is church doctrine, so I could well acquaint myself with church theology.

Adoration
“O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens! (Psalm 8:1)”

Lord God, teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in Your commands. (Psalm 119:66)

I see my life needs a lot of work. But what is important to me is to understand God's Word and pull out “Theology” and “Application.” Yet I see people don't care about that.
Martyn Lloyd Jones had this to say about 'Theology.' “The whole end and object of theology is to abstract truths, nor a number of philosophical propositions but God! A Person! To 'know' Him! ― the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou has sent!”

Did you hear that, the reason why we have theology is to know God. Yet we live in a world that says that the church must be entertained... What is wrong with you Christian: give us the Word, not 'junk food.' I want to know God! Do you?

2 Samuel 22:29 says, “ For you are my lamp, O LORD, and my God lightens my darkness.” And 1 Corinthians 16:13, “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”

How can we if we are in “darkness” “stand firm in the faith.” We need to get back to the Bible and back to basics.

“Oh Lord, I pray to know You and Your Word; I wish to have my more deeply and rooted in Your Word, and have a strong foundation.”

I met up with my step—dad today who is a Mormon, which is a occult, he is always trying to get me to go to his Mormon 'church' which I will not go to, simply because they add to the Word of God, and we are told in the Bible: Revelation 22:18–19 “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.”

Now Joseph Smith (the founder of the Mormon church) claimed to have been told by God “to write inspired Scripture.” Now that's crazy Revelation 22:18–19 says the exact opposite. Now I believe Joseph Smith, was told by Satan to write the “Book of Mormon.” Which the Mormons believe to be Scripture.

Can I give you something to ponder stay away from the Mormon church have nothing to do with them.

Oh yes Mormons a worked based church. They you believe that you have to work your way to heaven when, Ephesians 2:8–9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” God's forgiveness is not based on your [works] but by [His Grace]. Remember stay away from the Mormon theology it is no good don't go to any their functions, they are very sneaky watch them close.

Oh Lord I pray that You keep us on guard against occults and bad theology. Let us run to You for wisdom and discernment to be on the alert, and let us be filled with Your Word. Amen!

I feel a war going on with my mind, I know I am supposed to “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

But sometimes my mind wants to have it's way but I must always take hold of my thoughts and them captive to the Word of God.

Please teach me to delight myself in You, Lord and You will give me the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4)

I must set my mind on the things of Christ. And take every thought into captivity. (2 Corinthians 10:5) Whenever I feel lust come upon me I must Quote 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
I will also Quote Matthew 5:27–28, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” I will try to Quote these when my thoughts wonders into “Lust.”

Lord help me to take of my thoughts and to take them captive, and submit them to Your Word, help me not to look with Lust but with pure thoughts.

I find myself wanting to sin; that is the flesh want's to have its way. But I cannot give in to it and will not willfully sin against God. How can I get rid of this vileness in my life.

Tuesday January 12, 2010 It seems to me people do not know God's Word, oh they know how twist and mangle, and take it and quote it out of context.

I was talking with some people today it seems if you are good person you have got to be a Christian, when on the flip—side the Bible says, “No one is Good.” See Psalm 14:2–3; Romans 3:10–12. The Context of those verses shows that we are vile and nasty creatures. Unlike the people I was talking with. These people were most likely Pentecostal denomination.

Lord help us to realize the only thing good about us is You and only You.

Lord help me to keep my eyes looking straight and fix my gaze directly before me. Make level paths for my feet and strengthen me to take only ways that are firm. Help me not to swerve to the right or to the left; keep my feet from evil. (Proverbs 4:25–27)

January 13, 2010 Wednesday It seems that my flesh hates God, and loves sin. But I must resist the flesh and not give in.

I had a friend name Kelvin Zacher come by and visit, now we have been friends, for about 10 years. He is a Christian but a very weak one at that I might seem hard but I am not trying to be mean.

I have been Reading in Proverbs and the Book of Acts; it seems I always get more out the Bible even though I have went through the Bible almost 4 times. I have noticed the more I read the Bible the little I really know or as Psalm 25:14 says, “The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.”

Lot's of people believe you can loose your salvation (that is backslide)? They backslide because they have never slid-forward in the first place, I will tell you this and know it well and stop acting like a fool; if you could loose your salvation you could never get it back! Now I am not saying, “Go sin to your hearts dismay, no if you love God you will hate sin and turn from it. Don't ever look back? But press on toward the prize that you will get in Heaven!

Affirmation
As I give, it will be given to me; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into my lap. For the with the measure I use it, it will be measured back to me. (Luke 6:38)

I would go on and give God's Word but it is better to just meditate on a couple of verses at a time or maybe a dozen then do a study on those verses. Want I am trying to say is memorize them and then tuck them away.
One tip to memorizing Scripture is to walk while you memorize, and another is obedience.

You see you are not always going have your Bible with so you need to memorize Scripture? And start now and Hide God's Word in your heart and use it and put it into action. Oh Lord teach me to meditate on Your Word day and night see Psalm 1:2 and put it into to practice!

January 14, 2010 Thursday I am a little confused as to why I have no wife. I have prayed to God many times, “Why am I not married?” I don't like to watch movies where the hero always gets the girl. In my case at the end I would still be alone. I hope the Lord sees it differently. I know I shouldn't doubt, but I am becoming quite lonely and depressed. This is not what I planned for me to be alone all my life. My heart & soul cries out for a soul-mate. Yet I am still alone, I don't understand this at all. How much longer must I wait, or will I die alone. This to me seems to be my fate. I have felt the urge to get married but how would I make it work? This thought has run through my mind hundreds of times. But all in all; Lord You know whats best for me.

Lord let Your work be done in me! Complete me and let me be poured out and used. I would rather be used up than collect dust in a closet. I would rather die young; than grow old and soft.

January 15, 2010 Friday Today it seems the flesh wanted to have its way. And somewhat I did let have its way. But I could not fully give in. Still I need to kill the lust in my life.

Yet I fight hard not to give in because I have this thought that runs through my mind that when I lust Jesus is right there watching me. So that's why I can't lust. Why should I be a slave to lust, I thank the Lord I did not continue to lust, Thank You Lord Jesus.

Confession
I will endure discipline, for You are treating me as Your child. For what is not disciplined by its Father? If I am without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then I am an illegitimate child and not a true child. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them; how much more should I be disciplined by You, the Father of my spirit, and live? (Hebrews 12:7–9)

January 16, 2010 Saturday I went online today to check out some sermons and went John Piper's website, found a sermon called Holding fast the Word of God. As John Piper began his sermon he recited all of Philippians. Wow how important it is for us to be equipped! In my mind; someone who does not memorize the Word of God, is starving themselves.

I issue a challenge for all Believer's to memorize God's Word., keep it tucked away in your heart, Draw on the Word of God Day and night see Psalm 1:2; 119:11. The only way to grow in the Word, is to be in the Word day and night.
Father God, Your Word tells me to know assuredly that You, the Lord have set apart the godly for Yourself; You Lord, will hear when I call to You. (Psalm 4:3)

January 17, 2010 Sunday I have made a mistake, about the fact that I didn't like my place. Well I now know that God has blessed me. I thank Him for that, and repent of my sin and for not trusting in God more when I know He has it under control.

I got to spend some time with my friend Kelvin Zacher today, spent about four hours talking with him.

The sermon preached today was okay but not great. I wish it was more gospel centered. Instead it was more of a story; but no real theology. I would rather have more Scripture preached in the sermon. The reason I like it that way is because it more focused on the Word and Theology. But we did have a guess speaker so that might explain something, his name was Robert McDowell. I believe there should be a story in your message when you preach but it should point back to Scripture.

Father, I have been called for Your Name's sake to the obedience that comes from faith. (Romans 1:5) Please help me to understand that obedience demands faith.

Save some, O Christians! By all means, save some. From yonder flames and outer darkness, and the weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, seek to save some! Let this, as in the case of the apostle, be your great, ruling object in life, that by all means you might save some.” Charles Spurgeon

Let us preach and focus on God, if we teach let it be about God and focus on Him. If not then we have no right to be behind the pulpit. Jesus is ours to proclaim not to be hoarded.

Lord, let me focus on You; and not myself, Lord if loose track correct me and get me back on track, to keep my focus on You and You alone. Let me never fail to forget this. Amen!

Today has been a good day for not being really stressed out but calm. I seen my mother [that is her name is Ruth] today it was nice to talk with her and visit. None of my family are Christian's all unbeliever's, I have tried to witness to all them, I couldn't convince them to become Christian's.

I was talking with a name “Doug Camp.” Talked about the modern philosophy, that is think positive things and good things will happen; what a pile of crap. If that's so true then why is it I know that people think positive and things go crazy. This philosophy is no good do put this into practice it does not work.

LORD JESUS, Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—help me to think about such things. (Philippians 4:8)

I can not get rest from my vile heart it haunts me in whatever I do. I know James 1:12 say, “ Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

O Lord forgive my vileness!

I sometimes wonder why You put up with me, my sinful heart who can's seem to stop sinning. You Lord gracious and kind and slow to anger, this I cannot grasp but I am forever grateful that You do not strike me dead.

Intercession
May we rejoice, become complete, be of good comfort, be of one mind, and live in peace; and You Lord the God of love and peace, will be with us. (2 Corinthians 13:11)

Give me the righteousness to be free from sin.

O how I love Your Word (see Psalm 1:2) Lord but sometimes I fail to obey Your Word, I guess that is the flesh—in me that I so wish to be done away–with.

I had a friend at my place his name is Patrick Bloodgood, last night, I forgot how much we don't have in common. I a Christian my friend is not. That doesn't mean that I am going to treat him bad.

You how sin is with a Christian they convicted when they sin, and we are commanded to stop sinning, in our own strength we can't do that but in the strength of Christ we can. Now I am not saying saying we stop sinning altogether, that doesn't happen until we enter into heaven.

Keep your eyes focused on the cross and then you will hate sin. (see Psalm 97:10)

Well my life seems to be in a mess and I need my Lord Jesus to help me; and give me strength.

Do not allow anything to snatch the Word of Truth from my mouth, O Lord, for I have put my hope in Your laws. (Psalm 119:43)

Psalm 119:4–8 “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous rules. I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!”

Is there anything in my life that is restricting me to the darkness, any part of my actions and my behaviors that would shame me if they were exposed? Let my acceptance of Jesus' light permeate beyond saving faith and sanctified living. Why with less of His warmth? I would only Be Lukewarm.

I was wondering today about how things can get turned into a big mess.

It seems I have a lot of things that try to steal time from the Word of God and that drives me crazy.

Sometimes I feel my time is taken from me and there is no way to get it back each second that go's bye will never come back but it is gone forever. As John Piper said, “Don't wast your life?” So I make my point to use your time wisely.

Sometimes I feel life to be cruel and unforgiving. But we must go on. I seem to have deep—depression, yet I won't let people see it. I must stay focused on the Word of God and my failures.

Father when all other things have passed away, three things will: faith, hope, and love. (1 Corinthians 13:13) Help me to prioritize the things that will always remain.

I like this verse because it speaks to me the verse is Ephesians 5:4 “Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.”

An old friend of mine died and went home.

His Name Was Richard F. Torres
Born August 22, 1930. Died January 25, 2010.

The state where he was Born (Asper, Wyoming.)

The state where he died was (Spokane, Washington)

He was 78 years old when he died. One thing I can say about Richard F. Torres, he was a prayer—warrior.

I called Richard, (Dick) that's the name everyone called him. His life was:

Psalm 23:1–6 KJV “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

One thing he would say to me, “Mike Do you know God's will concerning you.” These are the verses he gave-me. “ Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

He also love to read My Utmost For His Highest By Oswald Chambers. He gave that devotional book to hundreds of people if not thousands. But we would always is recite the Lord's Prayer: Matthew 6:9–13 (KJV), “ After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Ever since I have learned how to memorize Scripture, all I have wanted to do was to meditate on His Word. When I first started to memorize and Quote verses, I felt I was missing out.

The believer's have plagues that corrupt them from the inside. The outside may look nice but the inside is full of pain and suffering. I believe we kill it through prayer.

I have found myself to love reading from the Puritans, they have so much great theology. They have given me a rich amount of love for the Lord Jesus. But something troubles me there books are being taken off the shelves; I am sad and confused by this but the internet is rich with Puritan writings. So I am thankful for that. I hope to gain a deeper love for the Lord and lot's of good theology by the Puritans.

Death is a fear for those who do not know where they are going. But for the Believer Death is a reward that we wait for in Christ Jesus our Lord. But I don't want to go until it is my time.

I have noticed the pay off of memorizing chapters over—verses. With-verses I have to memorize the reference—and chapter; but with memorizing chapters I don't have to memorize the reference.

Also I have noticed after I get done memorizing a whole Book of the Bible, I see the whole context. I am thankful that God showed me how to memorize.

Times are tough and the world we live in is full of sin. When I had cable—tv, it was full of lust, murder, hate, sex, greed, and cons. Then I am slapped in the face with the magazines which is full of gossip. It makes me want to puke. And more often than not I see professing Christians look at these magazines and fill their mind with this crap, no wonder Christian's have become so weak. Most Christian's don't know sound doctrine. And they have no discernment.

Let us get back to the Word of God and study it and memorize it and meditate on it day night.

February 20, 2010 Saturday
I see something in me that I hate and that is SIN, Oh how I hate the sin in my life. Why is it that I can sin but show no love!

I must do as the Psalmist did in Psalm 30:4–5, “Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”

My sin is vile but that's the kind of people Christ died for, As it says in Matthew 9:13, “For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

How I praise You, my God, that in Christ and through faith in Him I may approach God with freedom and confidence! (Ephesians 3:12)

Hard work pays—off in the long run. That's the same with—memorizing! If your memory isn't that strong it is going to be hard work, but it's worth it you can have growth in your Christian—walk.

And you can say as the with the Psalm 145:1–2 “I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever.”

Sin is always knocking on my door and wanting to come in and get me to sin against God.

Psalm 56:3, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. [God]”
I see another part that does not want to submit, I know I should submit to God but I find myself in open―rebellion. It seems every―time I try to fight, it comes back, I have to submit to God and not my flesh.

I must kill the flesh and its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24–25, “ And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.”

I have a great desire to leave this earth. But I feel I must stay for something I don't really understand. I wish my life had been a little different, but then again would I have ever met the [Lord].

But I can say as in Acts 2:21, “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

And yet I see myself running back to the Scripture, “1 Corinthians 3:7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.”

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit Lord give me strength to live for You and You alone.

I find that I am wearing out memorizing Your Word I am tired and weary. My strength is drained from me I am weary. Yet I am only 27 years old yet I am drained of all comfort, of all love, of all happiness. But I press on that I may know You and Your Word.

You give me strength and I know that is the secret weapon.

“The earth is filled with Your love, O Lord! Teach me Your decrees.” (Psalm 119:64 NIV) “May Your unfailing love be my comfort according to Your promise to Your servant!” (Psalm 119:76 NIV)

Jesus Christ, my Kinsman Redeemer and my Bridegroom, Your banner over me is love! (Song of Songs 2:4)

How I Thank You, God, that You will heal my waywardness. You love me freely. (Hosea 14:4)

Lord God, help me not only to fully accept how much You love me, to abide in Your love! (John 15:9)

Father God thank You for telling me that You Yourself express Your love uniquely to those who have Christ and believe He came from God. (John 16:27)

Well my apartment is next to another apartment that leaks downstairs.

It makes me think about trust in God, how trust in sometimes just leaks away. Why? Well that's really easy, we forget about His Word maybe we don't trust Him with certain things.
Its crazy how we bless God and (give Him Thanks) when things go right. But the minute they go wrong we blame God.

How is it that we have so little–faith? How is it that we forget the blessing from God when things go wrong? The simple answer is we like to receive blessings but not hardships. O what a faithless generation! Why is it that the great Puritans had so great of faith in times of trouble? But our generation when things go wrong or get hard we fall to pieces.

Luke 14:26 “"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.”

“I call on You, O God, for You will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Show the wonder of Your great love, You who save by Your right hand those who take refuge in You from their foes. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.”

March 4, 2010 Thursday
I am going to learn Greek, 'that is the basics of Greek.' This should help me a lot to understand the Bible better.

I went to the big city of Spokane WA. In Spokane I went to the Christian Supply, and Wal mart.

It was raining off and on but it gave me time to think about a few verses.
These were the verses I was thinking about:

Psalm 103:1–4 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.

Jeremiah 9:23–24 Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD."

At the Christian Supply I got a pocket size Bible one of a ESV, the other a NKJV Pocket Size Bible. The NKJV has a snap-flap cover which I like it makes it easy to take with me place where I am going.
Also I got a book by James R. White [great theologian] the name of the book is called, “The God who Justifies.”
I thank You Lord for all that I have You are gracious and kind to me Lord, You supply my need, You clothe me, You keep me healthy. I am forever grateful to You Lord Jesus.

My Faithful God, help me to call this to mind and therefore always have hope: Because of Your great love, I am not consumed, for Your compassions never fail. They are new toward me every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I will say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.” (Lamentations 3:22–24)

O God help me to meditate on Your unfailing love! Psalm 48:9

Help me not have the sin of unbelief after all You've done to tell me You love me and demonstrate Your love for me.

As of lately I don't why I have been in such a rush. It seems I need to slow down when memorizing Scripture why I don't need to be in such a rush to memorize I don't know!
But I feel it needs to happen I need to slow down and not be so quick as I have been doing lately.

1 Corinthians 3:7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

Psalm 119:126–127 It is time for the LORD to act, for your law has been broken. Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold.

Psalm 119:165 Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.

John 12:32 “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."

I am going to start memorizing a verse a day from the Old and New Testament, that is going through each book. If keep at this it will keep me from getting burned out.

[Just a side I was memorizing 5 verses a day so I was really burned out and exhausted, so I needed to slow down.]

Every week I try to memorize a Quote and a Prayer I try to only Quote from dead people. In fact Paul Washer once said, “Don't Quote anybody that hasn't been dead for a 100 years.”
But it seems now I need to incorporate Theology into my memory, Study notes, and application. I am going to use some (Ruled 3x5 cards) to jot down some things that I find in Scripture.

LORD God, I desire to bow down to You in worship. I want to kneel before the Lord my Maker; for You are my God and I am among the sheep of Your pastur, the flock under Your care.

March 7, 2010 Sunday
As of late I have been memorizing from the NKJV version. I am going to start using the (ESV) version. Why the version change, well because it is more accurate. I find it much easier to memorize from. Not that I don't like NKJV, but the Esv is the one for me.

Also the The MacArthur Study Bible in August, he will be releasing the Esv version which is great. I can't wait for it to come out.

You, Eternal God, are my refuge, and underneath are Your everlasting arms. You will drive out my enemy before me, saying “Destroy him!” (Deuteronomy 33:27)

March 8, 2010 Monday
Spring is coming and that means rain and lots of it. Then I will be soaked in the rain which is no fun at all. I was talking with my friend Kelvin, (which he believes people can backslide and loose there salvation) but I believe they were never saved in the first place!

Well if that's what he wants to believe go for it but I am opposed to that belief; he also hold to the view that the earth is millions of years old, I hold to the young earth view.
But all in all we are still close friends and have been for a long time.

I will be glad and rejoice in Your love, O God, for You saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to the enemy but have set my feet in spacious place. (Psalm 31:7–8) HALLEUJAH!

O LORD, You are good and Your love endures forever; Your faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:5)

Father God, how great is the love You have lavished on me, that I should be called a child of God! And that is what I am! (1 John 3:1)

March 10, 2010 Wednesday
I must admit something I have always felt that my prayer has lacked. I don't why I think that way. Maybe its just me I don't know for sure.

My Savior, Jesus Christ, Your Word says that greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friend. (John 15:13)
You have demonstrated the greatest act of friendship in my behalf that exists. I thank You Lord, Jesus.

Father, You're teaching me that pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. (Proverbs 13:10)

Help me to discern the pride that is involved when I am quarrelsome.

My Faithful Father, You've warned me that when pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. (Proverbs 11:2)

Lord God, Your Word clearly warns us that pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18)

The Works of God
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him? You made him a little lower that the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You human beings the rulers over the works of Your hands, and You put everything under their feet. Lamentations 3:22–23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Matthew 3:8 “Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance.”

I thought about reading the through the Bible in (90 days). I have been thinking about it for quite a while.

Father it is not enough for me to humble [myself] for one day. (Isaiah 58:5)
You desire humility to be a [lifestyle] characteristic.

My wonderful Savior, Jesus, as hard as this is for me to fathom, Your Word says that as Your Father has love You, so You loved me! You love me so much that You want me to to remain in Your love. How I wish we would all look at the Word; to feed and to help us grow. Let us not faint not at the trials but look forward to Him.

I am going to reveal a secret you cannot claim to be a Christian, and live like the devil Monday—Saturday, Then on Sunday act like a saint, no you are, “A Hypocrite” a fake and not a Christian.

I see to many claim to be a (Christian) but live like they belong to a biker―club. No that is a hypocrite, not a Christian, you are not a Christian. Stop rebelling against God submit to Him. Stop hanging in the middle–of the fence. You are with Him or you're against Him plain and simple.

I still have a lot of my first Journal to transcribe, so there will be a lot more soon. I will also be cleaning it up and editing it a little.

LORD, like Jonah, help me to be convinced that You are slow to anger and abounding in love. Unlike Jonah, help me to delight in Your compassionate way, O God, for I am such a recipient of Your grace and mercy. (Jonah 4:2)

Glorious God, how I celebrate the fact that my eyes have never seen, my ears have never heard, and my mind has never, conceived what You have prepared for me and all others who truly love You. Help me also understand that this awesome plan is revealed to me by Your Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

I have found that my life needs to be cleaned up. I feel that sometimes why does the LORD, deal kindness toward me I know I do not deserve it.

Glorious God, how I celebrate the fact that my eyes have never seen, my ears have never heard, and my mind has never conceived what You have prepared for me and all others who truly love You. Help me to also understand that this awesome plan is revealed to me by Your Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

I was reading in Ephesians 1 today; And as I read: Ephesians 1:5 (NASB) “He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will.” 'Predestination has respect to the blessings they are designed for; particularly the adoption of children, it being the purpose of God that in due time we should become His adopted children, and so have a right to all privileges and to the inheritance of children.' Matthew Henry

Lord I am predestined as a son to be adopted into Your family through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will. (Ephesians 1:5)

The Noun in the Greek indicates “a foreknowledge,” is used only of divine “foreknowledge,” Acts 2:23; 1 Peter 1:2. “Foreknowledge” is one aspect of omniscience; it is implied in God's warnings, promises and predictions, See Acts 15:18. God's “foreknowledge” involves His electing grace but this does not preclude human will. He “foreknow” the exercise of faith which brings salvation. The Apostle Paul stresses especially the actual purpose of God rather than the ground of the purposes, see Galatians 1:16; Ephesians 1:5, 11.

I was thinking today about the word (Meditate) now we should meditate on Scripture. But how can [you] if you don't any Scripture memorized. Meditation through memorizing the Scripture.

March 16, 2010 Tuesday
I was very uncomfortable all through the night with stomach-pains. It was something I ate yesterday, much distressed over it, I guess I have to be careful. Today I slept a little bit longer, as I usually get up at 5:30am that way I have time to read the Scriptures. But today after I got done reading the Scriptures, I went and laid down for about an hour.

O how I Thank You, LORD for having power to turn any curse into a blessing for me, because You, the Lord my God, love me. (Deuteronomy 23:5)

Psalm 96:11–13 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Today I feel we Christian's spend little time taking in the Word than we do letting it soak in again this is where memorizing the Scripture is important so we can grasp what we are reading and dig into its meaning. Do you go at reading the Word as like taking a vitamin your need to take or Oh you will never grow ponder it read it in your head, let it be your source of food, this I think why memorizing is so important.

Father God, continue to teach me. Help me to recognize what is in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. (Ephesians 4:21)

My God, According to Your Word people perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thessalonians 2:10) Please, Lord, give me a love for truth! Immeasurable fruit is produced by the love of truth.

March 18, 2010 Thursday
Things have been coming upon me fast why I don't know. But that's how it go's, I wonder how come I don't trust God in many areas of my walk it seems my mind has been off track.

I love one verse that I am going to memorize that is Jonah 2:9 “But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the LORD!"

I have learned that just reading the Bible and not obeying what it says, is the same as calling he Bible a liar.

Oh My All Powerful God, enable me to stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around my waist and with the breastplate of righteousness in place. (Ephesians 6:14) Help me to understand that without the girding of truth, I am defenseless against the devil. Truth is my vain defense against the father of lies.

Oh My Father, God, When [I] sin against You and choose to walk in deception rather than truth, please send others to gently instruct and confront me. Grant me repentance leading me to a knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:25)

Father, God, please never allow me to be one who is always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. (2 Timothy 3:7)

O LORD, Your inspired Word declares that the knowledge of Your truth leads to godliness. (Titus 1:2)

Sometimes I don't understand the whole picture of what God is doing, but knowhere in Scripture I am told to worry about that. Let's not worry but press on toward the crown of life.

I wonder why, people don't ever read their Bible, never had we more acess to the Bible than we do today.

We should be filled with God's Word is should flourish in us like streams of living water; (John 4:10; Psalm 1:3).

The Word should be our life source, listen to what John says in 1 John 1:1–2:
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—the life was made manifest, and we have seen it, and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was made manifest to us.

Father, Your Word Exhorts us that if one should wander from the truth, someone should bring him back! James 5:19

Matthew 4:4 But he answered, "It is written, "'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

My Lord Your Truth lives in me, O God, and will be with me forever. (2 John 1:2)

My Lord, help me to know that I belong to the truth, and set my heart at rest in Your presence. (1 John 3:19)

Father God, help me to give You great joy by walking in the truth, just as You commanded us. (2 John 1:4)
