The gospel is the means to make discovery unto us of Jesus Christ, the only Deliverer from wrath to come; and also the means to work faith in us, which comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). Hereby alone we come to have interest in Jesus Christ and His deliverance. Thomas Vincent
